| I was just wondering if there was any artist/band/song that everyone in this forum liked. I'm not going to bother trying to think up one because it's going to be 'MUSE!' or something that's probably only my own opinion, so any suggestions? | |

| I absolutely loved the Lion King as a kid, so anything from there gets my approval.
I think "Beauty and the Beast" is a bit dull and "Under the Sea" is kind of annoying.

| I don't really want to take it into Disney before we get agreement from everyone else...and I can't think of an absolute favorite song..perhaps Timon's little song and dance number he does when he and Pumba are trying to distract the hyenas. | |

| uhh...i don't exactly remember all the songs in the Lion King...or any of the other Disney movies...
question: "Anastasia" isn't a Disney movie, right?
as for something we all like...something....American: Rock, Pop, Alternative, Country, Heavy Metal, Emo, etc.?

| No I am thinking that Delphine is talking about like a certian band or something we all like. If it's about genres of music I'd say I like Hip-hop, Rock, Classic, Worldly (mpop, cpop, kpop, jpop) and erm R&B) | |

| I don't think children's songs or genres is what I had in mind when I asked. I want to know if there's one particular song out there that we all liked a lot. And not just, Oh I've heard of that one, but OH YES, that song pwns! Hopefully there's more than one, but knowing all of us, I doubt it.
Any song at all...from Glen Miller's "In The Mood" to Rogue Trader's "Voodoo Child".
...both of which were used in Doctor Who, but that's besides the point.
Anything at all?? | |

| I'm quite positive we've all heard 'In the Mood'. As for old time classics, there's plenty I could name. How about we start by nominating groups/artists and then narrow it down to songs?
And when you say "mainstream" do you mean American Mainstream?
Anyway...Some classic groups:
Queen, the Beatles, ELO, and Chicago.
The next poster should rename the group(s) they've got a favorite song in and add some other groups/artists. We should get it narrowed down that way. Hopefully...

| Great, my idea failed already. I'd like to thank Thao for trying so hard to follow it. Your effort is commended.
Yeah...as so far as the things listed by Ha went, the closest I could get to say I love a song by one of them is a cover of Frank Sinatra's 'My Way' by the Sex Pistols.
Should I even bother trying to re-start my idea?
