| Okay I watched the 1st episode... not bad... kinda different from the ones I've usually watched. Daniel is such a player haha and Walter is old looking. 2nd episode- GASP Gina stole the book and GASP the bunny is in trouble  wow what an episode. | You know, I might like Ugly Betty if I liked...Ugly Betty. Hah. It just seems kind of domestic to me. I mean, it's about one girl's attempt to do well at her job...What is the show about besides her job??
And it might have just been the first episode, but it wasn't exactly unpredictable. The only genuinely unexpected part was when she came in with a Guatemala poncho.
I think it's hard to like a show unless you actually want to watch it, you know? You could come in with the most open mindedness but unless you actually want to continue to watch it, it doesn't keep you interested.
Like I couldn't get my cousin to watch Dr. Who when I first tried to convince her, but then one of her favorite songs was used in a youtube video with Doctor Who clips and she wanted to know what was going on. Actively seeking it out, she ended up liking it a lot. | |

| Well, it's funny...and...
I mean, I've only seen one episode, I can't really judge anything from it either since it was pretty straightforward and nothing particular happened except she applied for a job and got it and then did stuff in it and got upset about it and then quit.
And...doesn't that happen all the time in real life? They just made it more extreme and amusing...
And I suppose that's why I'm not into it. It's kind of like how I prefer Futurama over the Simpsons.
I'm sure Ugly Betty would be awesome if it was just a bit more...awesome...
